Terms of Service

1. Introduction
By placing an order on www.salomestones.com, you agree to comply with and
be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Sale”).
If you do not accept these Terms of Sale, please do not place an order on the
site.

2. Use of the Website
By accessing our site, you agree to use our services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with all applicable laws. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and the confidentiality of your information.

3. Products
All Salomé Stones jewelry is made from unique materials, including Israeli rocks
fused with crystals, offering exclusive shades and patterns. Each piece of
jewelry is exceptional and unique, crafted with passion and expertise. Due to
the handcrafted and unique nature of our products, each piece may vary
slightly.

4. Orders
4.1 Placing an Order
To place an order, select the desired products, add them to your shopping cart
and proceed to checkout by following the instructions provided. You will receive
a confirmation e-mail once your order has been validated.

4.2 Product Availability
Products on www.salomestones.com are often limited editions and may sell out
quickly. If a product is indicated as “out of stock” after you have placed your
order, we will inform you immediately and offer you either a comparable
alternative or a full refund for the chosen item.

5. Pricing and Payments
The prices of services and/or goods are those in force on the day
the order is placed. They are indicated in shekels and calculated exclusive of
tax. They will therefore be subject to VAT, any customs duties and transport
costs applicable on the day of the order. Salomé Maarek Studio reserves the
right to modify its prices at any time. However, the company undertakes to
invoice the services and/or goods ordered at the price indicated when the order
was placed. No discount will be granted for early payment.

Product prices are quoted in shekels and include all applicable taxes, unless
otherwise stated. Delivery charges are added to the product price and will be
detailed during the payment process.

6. Shipping
We offer different shipping options, which you can select at checkout. Shipping fees are calculated based on the weight of your order and your shipping address. Please refer to our Shipping Policy for further details. 

7. Payment

Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering. We accept the following payment methods: Credit card and PayPal. All transactions are secure and
encrypted.

8. Intellectual property and exclusivity

Salomé Stones Studio's expertise and knowledge used to carry out services
and/or productions remain its exclusive property. The services provided shall
not entail any transfer of rights. Salomé Maarek Studio may freely use the
results of its services in the development and exploitation of its products (for
example, public sales).

All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and designs, is the property of Salomé Stones and is protected by intellectual property laws. Unauthorized reproduction or use is prohibited.

9. Delivery

Delivery is made: either by handing over the goods directly to the
purchaser; or by sending a notice of availability to the purchaser at Salomé
Stones Studio's premises; or at the place indicated by the purchaser when
signing the acknowledgement of receipt. The delivery time indicated at the time
of ordering is indicative only and is not guaranteed. Consequently, any
reasonable delay in delivery cannot give rise to damages or cancellation of the
order. The cost and risk of transport are borne entirely by the purchaser. In the
event of missing or damaged goods during transport, the buyer must make all
necessary reservations on the delivery note upon receipt of the goods. These
reservations must also be confirmed in writing within five days of delivery by
registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt. In the event of collection
from Studio Salomé Maarek, the goods will be inspected on site.


10. Delivery times

Delivery times vary according to destination and delivery method. Estimated
delivery times are indicated during the ordering process. Salomé Stones cannot
be held responsible for delivery delays caused by circumstances beyond our
control.
Israel: 7 to 10 working days.
Europe: 5 to 10 working days.
United States: 7 to 10 working days.


11. Delivery costs


Delivery and return costs are at the customer's expense.
Delivery tracking
You will receive a tracking number once your order has been shipped, allowing
you to follow the status of your delivery online.


12. Defects and maintenance

The seller, in its capacity as a professional seller, guarantees that the
products are in conformity with the use for which they are intended and that
they are free from defects or latent defects which render them dangerous or
unfit for their normal use. Salomé Stones Studio offers a one-year warranty on
products in the event of unusual wear of the stone. We will exchange the
product for the customer's benefit. All product defects must be reported in writing, by registered letter without delay, and in any case within 7 days of
receipt of the goods (as evidenced by the postmark). Due to the artisanal
manufacturing process, slight differences in product size and color are possible
and cannot be considered defects.
These cannot be considered defects. The characteristics of the stone used
mean that products may randomly display characteristics that cannot be
considered defects. The stone must not be exposed to thermal shock or
chemical attack. It must not be exposed to hot or salty water. Products must be
cleaned by hand. Salomé Maarek Studio declines all responsibility for damage
to products caused by the use of heating appliances.


13. Confidentiality and publications

Each party agrees not to publish or disclose in any manner whatsoever the
other party's scientific, technical or commercial information, including prior
knowledge belonging to the other party that may be learned during the
performance of this contract, as long as such information is not publicly
available. Any publication or communication by the customer concerning the
services and/or products provided by Salomé Stones Studio must at least
indicate: its name, “Salomé Stones”, and the name of the material used.

14. Force Majeure
Salomé Stones Studio cannot be held responsible if the non-execution or
delay in the execution of one of its obligations described in the present General
Conditions results from a case of force majeure: strikes, terrorist acts,
epidemics, wars, natural disasters, problems with suppliers, transport or
production.


15. Severability
The fact that Salomé Stones Studio does not exercise, at a given moment,
a prerogative recognized by the present General Conditions cannot be
interpreted as a renunciation to exercise the said prerogative in the future.
Furthermore, the recognition of the invalidity of a clause will not affect the
validity of the General Conditions and of any other clause.


16. Competent Jurisdiction

Any dispute relating to the interpretation and performance of these General
Terms and Conditions of Sale shall be governed by Israeli law.
Failing amicable resolution, the dispute will be brought before the competent
court.


17. Returns and refunds

You have a period of 10 days from receipt of your order to exercise your right of
withdrawal without having to justify your reasons or pay any penalties. To exercise this right, you must notify us of your decision to withdraw by e-mail to
salomemaarekstudio@gmail.com.


18. Return conditions
Products must be returned in their original condition and packaging,
accompanied by all accessories and documents supplied. Return shipping
costs are at the customer's expense. If products are not returned within 10
days of notification of withdrawal, you will not be reimbursed for your purchase.

19. Warranty

Jewelry is not covered by the standard warranty in the event of breakage or wear caused by mishandling by the customer. This includes, in particular:

  • Accidental breakage of the jewelry,

  • Loss or opening of rings,

  • Broken clasps or any other damage resulting from personal use.

In the event of such an accident or breakage, the customer is responsible for the repair or replacement of the jewelry, as these situations are not the responsibility of the seller.

Some products may benefit from an optional premium commercial warranty, which provides additional coverage, including certain repairs not included in the standard warranty (such as clasp replacement or ring adjustment). The terms and price of this premium warranty are specified in the product description.

Optional Premium Commercial Warranty

Some Salomé Stones jewelry items may benefit from an optional premium commercial warranty, in addition to the 1-year legal warranty. This premium warranty provides extra protection against normal wear and includes certain repairs not covered by the standard warranty, such as replacement or adjustment of clasps and rings.

Duration: 1 additional year (or as specified in the product description).

What is covered:

  • Normal wear of the stone or jewelry.

  • Repairs including clasps, rings, and polishing.

What is not covered:

  • Accidental breakage due to mishandling (drops or loss).

  • Exposure to hot or salty water, or chemical products.

Terms:

  • This warranty is optional and paid, or included for selected products.

  • The price and exact conditions of the warranty are specified in the product description.


20. Limitation of liability
Salomé Maarek cannot be held responsible for indirect damage resulting from
the purchase or use of products sold on the Site.
Our total liability in the event of a claim will be limited to the amount paid for
the product in question.


21. Changes to conditions of sale
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions of Sale at any time.
All modifications will come into effect as soon as they are published on the Site.
By continuing to use the Site after the modifications have been published, you
accept the new Conditions of Sale.


22. Applicable law
These Terms of Sale shall be governed by and construed in accordance with
the laws of Israel. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts
of Jerusalem for the resolution of any dispute arising out of these Terms of Sale
or your use of the Site.


23. The benefits of stones

Belief in the therapeutic properties of stones and minerals is mainly associated
with practices such as lithotherapy and gemmotherapy.
These beliefs are based on the idea that stones and crystals have specific
energies and vibrations that can influence physical, emotional and spiritual
well-being. In lithotherapy, each type of stone is believed to have unique
properties depending on its mineral composition, color and crystalline
structure.
Gemmotherapy mainly uses plant bud extracts, but can also include stones and
minerals for their supposed properties. It's important to note that these beliefs
are often considered complementary or alternative forms of medicine.

Stones change with time and use: they can change color, crack and even lose
their properties if overused. Proper care helps your stones retain their positive
energies (see each stone's property sheet for more information and care).

24. Copyright and intellectual property
All content on the Salomé Stones site, including but not limited to text, images,
photos, videos, graphics, designs, logos, trademarks and other intellectual
property, is protected by international copyright and intellectual property laws.
Salomé Stones holds all copyrights, reproduction, representation, modification
and broadcasting rights relative to this content. Any unauthorized reproduction,
distribution, modification, public display or other use of these elements is
prohibited without the express written permission of Salomé Stones.
By using this site, you agree to respect the intellectual property rights of
Stones and you agree not to infringe them.

25. Liability
We make every effort to ensure the information on our website is accurate. However, Salomé Stones cannot be held responsible for errors, interruptions, or technical issues related to the site.

26. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will take effect as soon as they are published on our site, and continued use of the site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

27. Dispute Resolution
In case of any dispute, we encourage an amicable resolution. If that’s not possible, the dispute will be subject to the competent jurisdiction under French law.
