ABOUT THE DESIGNER


Salomé Maarek, a visionary designer born in Paris, is a graduate of the prestigious École Duperré in Paris and the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem. Drawing upon the family craftsmanship passed down from her grandfather, she has revolutionized the field of jewelry with a groundbreaking technique that naturally infuses glass with color derived from local rocks. In her travels throughout Israel, she selects the most extraordinary stones, skillfully transforming them into enchanting jewelry through her unparalleled expertise. Salomé presents her creations at the most prestigious design fairs and weeks in Milan, London, Berlin, and Tokyo, evoking admiration and enthusiasm from audiences. Buoyed by this remarkable success, she has chosen to establish her own jewelry brand in January 2024, enabling individuals to adorn themselves with a piece of the land of Israel and embark on a journey with her.


ABOUT THE STUDIO


The innovative material was developed in collaboration with the Jerusalem Institute of Geology, under the direction of Navot Morag. This unique substance has garnered significant media attention, featuring prominently on television channels and in esteemed design magazines spanning from the USA to India. Salomé Maarek, an audacious artist, showcases her creations at the most prestigious design fairs across Europe and Asia. Perpetually in pursuit of innovation and originality, Salomé Maarek has selected January 2024 as the moment to unveil her own brand.
